Fighting their way through, Castle Doom, the FF finally comes face to face with the mad doctor himself! Is this the final duel between Victor von Doom and Reed Richards at last?

Reed and Doom battle "between the seconds" of time using Doom's null time sequencer devices. This gets the attention of the Time Variance Authority, who send operatives to capture Doom and Reed. Doom substitutes Kristoff when the TVA agents arrive. Kristoff is neutralized, and the TVA captures the Fantastic Four.
